Natalia is an associate lawyer in the area of Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions & other Transactions and Administrative Law and Public Procurement. Most of the legal advice she provides is for state owned entities subject to special law; thus her work seeks to establish the way in which or whether or not specific rules of private law apply to commercial transactions carried out by state entities. She also provides legal advice to national and foreign clients about the structuring and development of infrastructure projects and matters related to contractual management and public procurement.

Natalia is hard-working and rigorous; always willing to go the extra mile to provide timely responses to clients. Thus she creates a bond of trust with her clients, based on the rigorousness of her legal work and her human qualities.

  • Lawyer from the School of Law of Universidad del Rosario. Specialist in administrative law from the same school of law.
  • Legal advice for one of the contract bidders under the invitation to bid issued by Empresa Metro de Bogotá for the design, construction and operation of the first line of the Bogotá subway. This included drafting all the relevant agreements between the joint venture members and between the joint venture and its subcontractors, as well as the requisite documents of the contract bid (e.g. prequalification check and offer, comments to the prequalification document and the concession agreement).

  • Permanent legal assistance to one of the members of the joint venture that built and currently operates the second most important sanitary landfill in Bogotá and Cundinamarca: the Nuevo Mondoñedo Sanitary Landfill. This assistance involves the preparation of public procurement documents as required by the concession agreement. Likewise, the provision of support on corporate governance matters, including joint venture management and distribution of profits.

  • Preparation of a framework collaboration agreement between a widely known Colombian real estate company and one of the most important family subsidy funds in Colombia for the development of real estate projects. Our work included negotiating the main document and drafting the agreements derived from the alliance. It addressed issues of corporate governance, resource management and specific regulations on special government housing subsidies.
