Juan Sebastián Araoz – Cajiao
Senior Associate, Bogota

  jaraoz@goh.law ____ |____

Juan Sebastian is in charge of providing comprehensive legal advice in tax litigation matters and other tax advice for national and multinational companies.

In this way, he has ample experience in the making of the required analysis and the provision of support for clients to handle disputes that arise because of the issuance of tax deficiency assessments and similar acts by the tax administration, and in the definition of the lines of defense for the preparation of answers to claims, motions and complaints; and generally to provide support through the different procedural stages that are carried out before the various administrative and tax courts (lower courts, courts of appeal and higher courts).

This entails being permanently available, and, when required, present at clients’ premises to collect all the necessary information and knowledge relevant to every case, as well as ensuring adequate coordination and communication with the tax authority.
Juan Sebastian stands out for his active participation in every case. He seeks to resolve conflicts with the least exposure at the administrative level. But at the same time he prepares whatever it may be necessary for the strategic defense in those cases that are referred to the courts of law.
